What I Would've Picked
I figure for each of the brackets I do on Twitter, I’ll always wait until nearly the end of its completion to reveal my personal picks. We did as much for the Walt Disney Animation Studios bracket, so today, as we get to the Top Two of Disney Songs, here are the choices I would’ve made.
As you can see, some of the songs I preferred made it pretty far into the bracket — I honestly wasn’t sure how well “When You Wish Upon a Star” would do, even among older songs. And you can also see that I preferred some cult songs as well. (I am still kinda shocked that both “Reflection” and “I Won’t Say I’m in Love” got knocked out when they did.)
Anyway, as we prepare to wrap up the Disney Songs bracket, don’t forget that on Saturday, I’ll start up a new bracket, on the current attractions of Disneyland and Walt Disney World. (It is exceedingly important to keep in mind the use of the word “current” in that sentence.) I’ll post more details about that on Saturday. For now, vote here! It’s close still.
