The Disney Theme-Park Background Music Bracket -- Round Three, Day Four
Here, kitty, kitty, kitty…
Good morning, friends! I hope you’re all doing well, and that you’re all prepared to vote in the final matchup of the third round of the Disney Theme-Park Background Music bracket. Just two spots remain in the Elite Eight, and…honestly, this might be an easy pair of choices.
Let’s see if I’m right!
(1) Epcot Entrance Plaza loop vs. (5) Tower of Terror queue loop: Easy, right? For me, it is, because this has to go to the Epcot entrance plaza loop, from Opening Day in 1982, when the 21st Century began. The Tower of Terror loop is plenty spooky with the echo effects, but optimistic futurism wins for me.
What do you think?
Epcot Entrance Plaza
Tower of Terror Queue
(2) Pirates of the Caribbean queue loop vs. (3) Disneyland Esplanade loop: Because the Pirates of the Caribbean queue loop is so short, and it’s represented in its competition here, there’s no question: the Esplanade loop has to win this one.
Like I said up top: easy choices. Right?
Pirates of the Caribbean Queue
Disneyland Esplanade
I love Epcot, you love Epcot, we all love Epcot! But the ToT loop is one of the most perfectly themed, fun, eerie, time-appropriate compilations of all time. What gets you in the mood more than entering the garden and hearing the spooky tinkling of piano keys? Or rounding the corner into the cobwebbed lobby just as an old school singer starts to warble? I'm dying on this Tower hill.
I voted for EPCOT! You know I love that gigundous golf ball park!
