The Ultimate Disney Parks Attraction Bracket -- Round Six, Day Three

Hello, friends! Hard to believe we’re more than halfway through the weekend, and just as hard to believe that we’re halfway through the Elite Eight of the Ultimate Disney Parks Attraction bracket. I must say, I don’t expect today’s matchup to be overly taxing on you, but maybe that’s just my bias showing.

Let’s get started!

(9) Main Street Electrical Parade vs. (3) Tower of Terror: Like I said, for me, this one’s easy. It’s got to be the Tower of Terror. Now, it is true that the Main Street Electrical Parade is the sole surviving piece of live entertainment, as opposed to a straight-up ride, in the Elite Eight. If you want to see that level of creative diversity (if you want to call it that) in the next round, I get wanting to vote for the parade.

But the Tower of Terror is really the apex of modern Imagineering for me. (Rise of the Resistance is great and all, for myriad reasons, but there’s very few attractions I would choose over Tower. Rise is not one of them.) Every aspect of its theming and atmosphere is well-met by the ride itself. I’m not a big thrill-ride person, but this one hits the sweet spot for me.
