Hello, friends, and welcome to the final Sunday of July 2023! We’re now halfway through the third round of the Ultimate Disney Parks Attraction bracket, and I hope you’re as excited as I am to see what survives to the next round of just 32 seeds. For now, let’s not waste any more time and dive right into the vote!
(1) Flight of Passage vs. (17) WDW Railroad: My bias is showing here, I have to admit. It’s a losing battle, of course, because I know that the Avatar ride is going to win. But I’m voting for the Walt Disney World Railroad, mostly because…well, I’ve gone on that ride before. And I’ve never experienced the Flight of Passage.
But that’s just me. How do you vote?
Flight of Passage
WDW Railroad
(8) Radiator Springs Racers vs. (9) Main Street Electrical Parade: There is only one Main Street Electrical Parade. I know what you’re thinking, my good friend Bob Iger. You’re thinking, “But Josh, there is only one Radiator Springs Racers.” While that is technically true, you and I both know that the Radiator Springs Racers attraction in Disney California Adventure is awfully similar to the Test Track attraction in Epcot, Cars theming be damned.
Give it to the parade.
Radiator Springs Racers
Main Street Electrical Parade
(4) Jungle Cruise (DL) vs. (13) Tomorrowland Transit Authority: This is where my bias is going to show. When I say “bias,” what I primarily mean is “which park I visit more often”. And if you have read these bracket posts carefully enough, you know I have visited Disneyland a lot more recently than Walt Disney World. I am glad the PeopleMover still exists, and is still beloved by many fans. But I haven’t gotten to experience it in a while, and the Jungle Cruise remains a banger that slaps, or it’s on fleek, or whatever is the cool-kid way of saying “This thing is good”. (Do you remember when “on fleek” was a thing people said unironically? My goodness.)
Anyway, I vote for the Cruise. How about you?
Jungle Cruise (DL)
Tomorrowland Transit Authority
(37) Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular vs. (12) Pirates of the Caribbean (WDW): I’m as glad as many of you are that the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular made it to this round of the bracket. But you are, I have little doubt, a wise and learned group of people who understand that Indy’s time in this bracket is now numbered. Because even though the Magic Kingdom version of the Pirates of the Caribbean is not as good as the Disneyland version, it’s still Pirates of the Caribbean.
Farewell, Indy. You had a good run.
Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular
Pirates of the Caribbean (WDW)
WDW Pirates beating almost anything else in this round is a travesty.
Radiator Springs Racers is uncomfortably close to MSEP for my liking…
