Sure, Remy is great and Cindy's castle is likely one of the top ten recognizable icons in the world - both very deserving. But those first few years of EPCOT were like nothing we'd ever experienced. It was the first time I'd ever used a touch screen and we made reservations via VIDEO CALLS with cast members. The fountains jumped over you!
My brother and I have such fond memories of those early years. Hard to explain to the kids how exciting a touch screen was. I got a Figment magic band when I was there this year because of those early trips.

The Ratatouille ride is so underwhelming. It's fine! I enjoyed it! But the whole is definitely less than the sum of its parts.
