Good grief! Only in Josh's demon chaos mind would I have to actively compare SPINAL TAP and White Christmas! Do I compare scores? Songs? Laughs-per-minute? Does the existence of a miniature Stonehenge shift the weight over completely? What about the fact that White Christmas is one of America's most enduring songs and written by arguably the greatest contributor to the American songbook?? Is knowing that Rob Reiner assembled a team that would then go on to create comedy masterpiece after comedy masterpiece part of the equation? What about the gorgeous harmonies in 'Snow'? Justice for White Christmas
Agreed, not a musical. But I'm relieved that the musical it was up against wasn't Blues Brothers. I don't like watching my fun films fight each other.
