Singin’ in the Rain might be the objective better film (although it would be even better without the modern ballet sequence), but Mary Poppins has the best selection of songs written for a feature. That’s what makes this a tough choice for me.

One of my family’s favorite stories is that at age 4, I learned to rewind the VCR so I could watch Mary Poppins on repeat.

With that said, Singin’ in the Rain is the movie I could still watch on repeat today, it is my “go to” film when introducing folks to classic film, and it truly embodies every aspect of what I think of as a splashy, gorgeous, old school movie musical.

To be honest, I don't think it's fair for us to make such a hard choice between Singin' in the Rain and Mary Poppins… It's very cruel for us to choose a "better" so called between the two classic movies✨… In fact, I don't think there's really existing a "perfect", and we know that every movie has its own special charm💫…… So I just chose my personal favourite, which holds the most special meaning for me and saved me😘😢… I thought it's the only access to choose between two real classic.

I like them both but chose Mary Poppins to avenge the Muppets.

Oh I don't think it's unfair to Singin' in the Rain (Though I love Muppets too😭)… I chose Mary Poppins just because it's still the Top 1 in my heart, which had saved me from the tendency to depression with its special charm💝😢… Mary Poppins is not just a movie to me… I don't know how to describe, but Mary Poppins can't be replaced in my heart… Thank you Mary Poppins✨……
