MASH is a whole lot of things. There's a reason the finale was watched by so many. I've had the chance to see both of these series all the way through. And there's just no comparison. MASH's capacity for humanity and empathy is unequalled. Watching these characters struggle to maintain their humanity and bring dignity to people who were suffering is so engaging. But MASH is at its greatest when these goofy characters are brought to the edge and they rail against the absurdity and injustice of needless war and carnage. MASH has always ben - the movie, too - anti-war. It meant something. While being a ridiculous 24-minute sitcom. Just the best.
At the end of the day, I think of M*A*S*H as less of a traditional comedy and more of a drama with (often quite funny) comedic elements. I have been voting for it as it’s an objectively better show than most of its competition, but against Cheers or Seinfeld, straightforward comedies that are arguably the perfect versions of themselves, that will be a different story.
It shows where my head is at that it took me rewatching the clip to realize what you meant! (And now that I *do* realize what you meant, you're not wrong.) Absolutely not my intent to be in bad taste here -- I'm going to update the post to choose a different clip. Apologies to all!

Glad to finally be rid of Friends. What an overrated show

That said, I can’t vote for Friends over it.
The Friends clip you decided to include was… maybe a bit in bad taste?

I assumed you had no ill intentions, thanks for updating
