The Ultimate Walt Disney Company Performances Bracket -- Round Five, Day Four
Step in time!
Honestly, gang, I’m still finding it hard to believe that one of the top seeds got voted out before this round even began. And while I still wish Gene Hackman’s work in The Royal Tenenbaums was still here, I of course mean that I remain shocked that we’ve already bid adieu to Bob Hoskins’ performance in Who Framed Roger Rabbit. He should be here, or so I would have said if it was up to me.
It is, of course, up to you as always. So which two performances will be the last ones you send to the Elite Eight? Let’s find out.

(9) Dick Van Dyke, Mary Poppins vs. (4) Amy Poehler, Inside Out: As I said, I’m still staggered that we’re here with this matchup. And yet, as staggered as I am, I will this time be voting for the man who served an upset recently. I do think Amy Poehler is wonderful and joyous (naturally) in Inside Out, but Dick Van Dyke is going all-in as Bert in Mary Poppins and as goofy as his English accent is, it’s offset by his immense energy in selling the work.
Do you keep the upset train rolling for him? Time to vote!
(2) Robin Williams, Aladdin vs. (3) Jodi Benson, The Little Mermaid: Well, listen, there’s not going to be a big surprise here, photo or not. I will not only say I would vote for Robin Williams in Aladdin, but I will safely presume that most of you will as well. But hey, I have been surprised recently. Are we in store for an aquatic upset? Up to you.
