Sometimes it's hard to tell if I'm voting for the actor, the movie, or the writing. I chose Tom Hanks because his character is charming, sweet and funny, but is that the performance or how it was scripted? Sure, he seems likable enough, but from a lot of what I've read, that's just Tom Hanks. I see Splash mentioned and immediately hear "Mister Mango's on my shoulder," which makes me smile, but hey--not only is that thanks to the writers, it's a takeoff on a line from another film! I'm so confused now.
I’m probably the only person I know who loves the Village. Sorry the buck stops here, Bryce.
I also think the Village is deeply underrated.
