Well, that is distressing! For now, I have two thoughts -- first, if you can (and I don't have an Android myself, only an iPhone), try opening up the post on your browser instead of the app itself. (I presume there is a Safari equivalent on Android?) Second, it is entirely possible the bugginess is due to a lot more folks shifting to Substack. I've noticed the site moving kind of slow in general the last few days, and I have to assume it's because traffic overall is a bit higher.
I was able to vote via browser on my phone (on Android there are multiple browsers but I use Chrome) so there is a workaround however clunky.
But it specifically says where the poll should be that it isn't supported by this version of the app yet. I know they also haven't rolled out chat function to the android app yet either so maybe it's coming?
Yeah, from a tech-rollout perspective I can completely see how this is playing out. It's a planned feature, just not ready yet. It would be nice if they offered a beta version we could test...I'll have to check and see if that's in the works.
