There are few experiences funnier than watching It’s Tough to be a Bug with a theater full of first timers. If the wasps don’t get them, then the bugs exiting the theater first will.

We’ve never completed a full showing of tough to be a bug. My daughter insists it should actually be at universal horror nights!

I was going to make this very same comment. Tough to be a Bug is one of my favorite things to do at WDW because there is nothing else that matches the crowd reaction. EVERY time it's a delightful chorus of screams and surprised reactions. It never fails to crack me up.

Real ones will vote for Impressions. Still sad that it has to share space with the mediocre Beauty and the Beast singalong.

Impressions de France is traditionalist epcot perfection. If you have Amazon music, there is a truncated version of the soundtrack you can listen to anytime, anywhere.

I am ride or die for Magical Map. Every single time I was at DL during its run, I made it a point to watch it. I knew the words, I knew the choreo, it was one of my faves. I had crushes on most of the dancers(who BTW were all talented at their craft). But wow, was I in love with the male chorus of the opening cast.

I have to make a case for Impressions de France, because Toy Story Mania is IMO the laziest “video game ride” out there. The ride is incidental to the experience. If it was converted to a walk through the only difference would be hourly capacity. If you don’t engage with the gameplay mechanic, there is nothing to else enjoy. Buzz Lightyear Astro Basters executes on the same concept 100x better.

My opinion is the exact opposite. I think Midway Mania (still calling it that) is the best of the video game rides. You can actually tell what you’re doing as opposed to shooting wildly and hoping that you’re in the general area. I can’t speak to if you don’t engage in the game, cause I completely do. I don’t think I’d enjoy it nearly as much as a walkthrough. Plus it has an excellent queue and song! But to each their own!

I don’t actively dislike Tough to be a Bug, but damn, it’s a weird thing to occupy the big central feature of the park, especially over 20 years later
